Why?

Lark In Flight: Sharing a Journey
This blog is a training playground for me. A gym of new exercises to teach me something of a world I have done my best to completely avoid through all of life so far. It is a fun, inspiring way for me to share my experiences and views with the ‘net while learning the basics of web programming.  I see it as a skill like reading/writing/math/backflips/climbing/frisbee that may not be necessary for survival, but makes the journey through this experience far more enjoyable and controllable.

I’ve avoided any sort of programming up until this point, like a bad headache, just hoping the fad would go away, and I wouldn’t have to think about it anymore.  But it is high time I face this beast, and befriend it, make it purrrrrr, and adopt it into my life.

Watch the content grow as I continue filling in writings I’ve done in the past that lend pertinence to life today, as well as start to record new thoughts and experiences that lend themselves to the world of now and upcoming.  Also, watch the style change and the artistic details fill in, as I learn basics of web programming, and let the page slowly take form into the idea presentation I envision.

I welcome comments and feedback on the ideas themselves as well as the style of the page.  Problems, disagreements, reflections, wishes, disappointments, love, and anything else content or style evokes in you.  However, I also welcome back-turning silence.  This page is for my own expression and enjoyment in much the way my guitar playing is.  It is a reference for me to look back on feeling and thoughts that matter to me, and yet, might otherwise get lost in the canyons of journeys taken since.
