Said Parirokh

Said is a fascinating duality: thoughtful and quiet, and yet equally confident and badass.  I’ve only just met him, but he amazes me with his slacklining skills, hardcore hobbies, and insightful spoken word.  He has a masters in math, and is studying GIS at the moment in Denver.  He can get the most height of anyone I know on a slackline, and showed me that a fall can turn into an elaborate sequence leaving you right back on top of the line.  His blog reflects this life, is fascinating, well written, full of great photos taken by him, and a nice window into his spectacular mind.
