I peer up at the moonlit rocks and feel the wise presence of a multitude of beings, as if I have suddenly appeared on the dinner table of Gods. They paused for a moment to look at the oddity, fork stopped half way to mouth, glass partially raised; they look at me curiously, unhurriedly, and wisely. Blackness.
Blackness so complete it is impossible to tell if it is white or black or blue or green or purple. Not one photon makes its way to my eye, and my brain screams with lack of optical information.
